SERVICES

Marina Alicante is equipped with advanced active and passive security systems, featuring a control room in the Main Building and a 24-hour guardhouse at the pontoon entrance.
The marina utilizes monitored cameras, continuous surveillance, and restricted user access via barriers and identification systems, alongside CPR equipment located in the guardhouse.

The fire protection system includes equipment on every pontoon—such as hydrants, fire extinguishers, lifebuoys, and emergency ladders. All equipment is certified and regularly inspected, and is supplemented by spill-response materials, fire blankets, and a bilge pump. Additionally, all staff members undergo ongoing training in emergency procedures, fire drills, first aid, and CPR.

Marina Alicante offers a professional diving service to carry out all types of underwater work related to vessels and port facilities.

Common services provided to our clients include hull and propeller checks, technical inspections, water intake inspections, and object recovery. The Marina also ensures the proper maintenance of its facilities by carrying out repairs—and replacements, if necessary—on guide rails, chains, moorings, and other components.

Service requests should be made through the reception or dock staff, who will coordinate the work to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.

Located next to the fuel station and opposite the Marina’s main building, the holding dock allows for a brief stop before proceeding to an assigned berth, should the need arise. Reception staff will coordinate with the dock crew to assign a berth, to which the vessel will then be moved. Dock staff will assist the skipper with the maneuvers involved in this process.

Additionally, visiting boaters may request temporary docking at the holding dock to restock supplies from the various shops located at Marina Alicante. Marina staff will advise on the courtesy time allowed, subject to availability.

Marina Deportiva de Alicante offers an assistance service to all boaters, guaranteeing an immediate response to any incident within the marina and its immediate vicinity.

The service includes support for complex maneuvers, towing within the harbor in the event of a breakdown, and emergency response when the situation demands it—always adhering to safety standards and coordinating with the relevant authorities.

Our team possesses the training and tools necessary to act quickly and effectively, minimizing risks to the vessel and its occupants. Constant availability provides boaters with peace of mind, ensuring that—regardless of the time or conditions—they can always count on professional support at sea.

All berths are equipped with an electrical power supply—either 220V or 380V (16A, 32A, or 125A), depending on vessel length—and metering is available. We have a fuel dock located next to the Holding Dock and opposite the Main Marina Building, featuring pumps for diesel and gasoline, as well as a blackwater and bilge water extraction pump.

The facility is equipped with safety systems for the prevention and containment of accidental spills.

Fueling services are available continuously from 07:30 to 21:00, Monday through Sunday, including public holidays.

All mooring points feature individual potable water connections, ensuring convenience and autonomy for every vessel.
The supply is integrated into the marina's main network to guarantee quality and proper operation. This service enables cleaning, maintenance, and provisioning tasks to be carried out on board with complete reliability.

All berths are equipped with an electricity supply—either 220V or 380V (16A, 32A, or 125A), depending on vessel length—and meters are available.

QUALITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Committed to quality and the environment

Marina Deportiva de Alicante doesn't see sustainability as just a marketing ploy: it's part of its daily operations. Our quality and environmental policy is applied in a real and auditable way, with concrete measures, investment in clean infrastructure, and procedures that require all staff, suppliers, and users to comply with applicable environmental standards.

Institutional commitment

The management of MARINA DEPORTIVA DEL PUERTO DE ALICANTE, S.A. is committed to providing services that guarantee customer satisfaction and respect for the environment. To this end, it maintains a Quality and Environmental Management System, in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, audited by a certification body accredited by ENAC. Based on this premise, improvement objectives are reviewed periodically, and the application of this policy is required of all companies operating in the Marina.

Solar photovoltaic project — self-generation and carbon footprint reduction

The marina has installed a 367.2 kWp photovoltaic plant comprising some 680 bifacial solar panels, capable of harnessing both direct sunlight and light reflected off the sea to maximise energy production for self-consumption. The installation powers the lighting, offices and communal facilities, reducing dependence on the conventional electricity grid.

The project, developed by Prosolia Energy, prevents approximately 133 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per year and cements Marina Deportiva’s position as a leader in the use of clean energy in marinas.

Hazardous waste management, MARPOL compliance and selective waste separation

Marina is registered with the Valencian Community’s Register of Small Producers of Toxic and Hazardous Waste and applies strict waste management protocols in accordance with MARPOL regulations, in collaboration with authorised waste management operators. Furthermore, it has an agreement with the Alicante Port Authority for the proper collection and treatment of waste from recreational craft, which also enables it to issue receipts for the disposal of used oil.

The facility encourages the separate collection of waste through bins placed throughout the site for packaging, paper, glass and organic waste. These measures are complemented by the separate collection of household waste, regular seabed clean-ups and annual water quality analyses.

Prevention, training and monitoring

Marina Deportiva sets regular quality and environmental objectives and establishes technical and financial resources to prevent pollution at its source. Ongoing staff training is provided, environmental activities are carried out, and awareness campaigns are conducted to minimize consumption, promote reuse, and improve recycling habits. Procedures include documented controls and internal audits that ensure the implementation of these measures.

Transparency and accountability

The results are monitored and translated into operational criteria: self-consumption rates, tonnes of CO₂ avoided, percentage of waste recycled and number of seabed clean-up operations. These indicators serve as a basis for reviewing targets and for reporting progress to clients, the authorities and stakeholders.
